Fast Track Customs Exemption Request

A service that enables the customer to apply for an increase request for the approved industrial production input materials quantities in addition to MoIAT customs exemption approval request, that can be obtained immediately once customer submit the request.

Note: The service enables the customer to authenticate invoices from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoF) via direct integrating with MoF services without needing to visit MoF services website.

Service procedure

  • Login or Register to the Ministry services digital platform
  • Apply to “Fast Track Customs Exemption Request”
  • Upload required documents
  • Payment of fees
  • Being able to apply for the service, if the required increase does not exceed 30% for a material registered in the factory's account and will be added to its balance
  • Submit the customs exemption request to the relevant local customs authority
  • Approval or rejection of the exemption will be based on the report from the local customs authorities' staff
Note: If the requested increase exceeds 30% of the previously registered quantity, the customer will not be able to apply for the service and will be directed to the service request for increasing the quantity of a registered material.

Q) What are the requirements for the service, and how can I apply for it?

A)

Service Procedure

  • Login to and apply on the Ministry’s online e-services platform
  • Complete the Customs Exemption Request Form (ensure your invoices are attested before attaching)
  • Payment of fees
  • Download a printed copy of the submitted application form or the payment receipt containing the application number starting with DX
  • Attach the downloaded application form or payment receipt to your customs declaration request (in the customs system) and mention the application number that begins with DX
  • A customs officer will check the application
  • If approved, the quantity will be deducted from the factory’s balance

  • Legalized/attested invoices (legalization/attestation is a service related to Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation [MOFAIC]).
