Open Data Policy of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology
The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) is committed to fostering transparency, innovation, and sustainable development through the responsible sharing of open data. This Open Data Policy outlines MoIAT’s commitment to providing high-quality, accessible, and reusable data to the public, in alignment with the UAE’s e-government policies and the Federal Open Data Guidelines issued by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA).
Data will be published in machine-readable formats (e.g., CSV, XLS, XML) for easy access and usability.
Data will be accessible to all users without registration or other barriers.
Datasets will be available for bulk download to facilitate large-scale analysis.
Data will be available in widely supported formats like CSV, XLS, and XML. No special software is required to access the data.
You are free to
Data can be reused, modified, and redistributed by any individual, entity, or government body, subject to the terms of the UAE Federal Open Data License.
Data may be used for commercial purposes, provided the conditions of the UAE Federal Open Data License are met, including proper attribution and non-misrepresentation.

Copy, reproduce and communicate to the public the Information in any format
Exploit the Information for both commercial and non-commercial purposes
Exemptions
The License does not permit the use of any images (including logos, graphics, or photographs) which appear in a Database, nor any trademarks associated with a Database or with the Open Data Platform.
You must comply with the following terms
Users must comply with the terms of the UAE Federal Open Data License, including attribution and non-misrepresentation requirements. Improper use of the data, such as unlawful or misleading actions, will result in the withdrawal of the rights granted by this license.
Improper use of information
Data must not be used for illegal, discriminatory, or harmful purposes, or in ways that conflict with UAE laws and values.
