IEC Emirates National Committee (AENC)
The IEC Emirates National Committee (AENC) is a supervisory committee under the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) and an affiliate of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The commission brings together more than 170 countries to support quality infrastructure and global trade in electrical and electronic goods, providing an impartial, independent global platform for more than 20,000 industry experts.
The AENC includes representatives from various sectors, including academia, government agencies, factories, industry, professional associations, suppliers and traders, testing laboratories, certification bodies, accreditation bodies, and local consumers. The committee represents the UAE and safeguards national interests.
