Year of Zayed
The UAE celebrates the "UAE Women's Day", which is held this year under the slogan "Women on Zayed's approach", coinciding with the centenary of Zayed and the announcement by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, head of State "God's keepers " of the designation of 2018 as "Zayed year ". The interest of the good state leadership in celebrating this event--which coincides August 28 each year--reflects its belief in the importance of the contributions of the UAE daughter and her role in development efforts and the renaissance of the country. This year's celebration comes under the slogan "Women in Zayed's approach" to reaffirm the role of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan "Good God's soul" in establishing the march of women in the UAE and expressed in many situations and sayings including: "Nothing makes me happier than seeing women take their course A distinguished society, and must not hinder the advancement of something ".

Social Initiatives
The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology organized a blood donation drive for its Dubai-based employees to encourage participation in humanitarian and social responsibility initiatives.
The blood donation drive was held in coordination with Dubai Health Authority as part of the My Blood for My Country campaign, and carried out in line with the UAE’s safety and precautionary measures.
