About ITTI

The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology launched the Industrial Technology Transformation Index (ITTI) under the Technology Transformation Program, and alongside the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development at the World Government Summit in February 2023. The index aims to measure Industry 4.0 and sustainability readiness in the manufacturing sector to drive sustainable technology.

  • MoIAT, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (AD DED), launched the ITTI at the World Government Summit in February 2023.
  • The index provides a comprehensive framework for measuring the digital maturity and sustainability practices of factories, while also formulating a roadmap for their digital transformation
  • The index is designed to help industrial companies become more productive, efficient, competitive, and sustainable by adopting advanced technology solutions.
  • It encourages the adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions and sustainability best practices.
  • MoIAT has also launched the Industrial Technology Transformation Index (ITTI) Global Certification Program, which aims to train ITTI assessors, share knowledge, and scale up the digital transformation journey in the industrial sector globally. A total of 57 assessors from 20 local and international entities were trained and certified. The first edition of the ITTI Global Certification Program was attended by 22 professionals from 9 countries. The second edition of the ITTI Global Certification Program was attended by 15 professionals from 8 countries; as part of the second edition, trainees visited the Nestlé factory in Dubai where they were introduced to the ITTI framework and witnessed its successful on-ground deployment.

The Technology Transformation Program

Launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Technology Transformation Program (TTP) is designed to supercharge the UAE’s industrial transformation and help turn the country into a global hub for Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies and industries of the future. The Industrial Technology Transformation Index (ITTI) is one of the key initiatives of TTP.

Qatar and Türkiye Join regional Integrated Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development; over $2 billion worth of new industrial projects announced
The inclusion of Qatar and Türkiye marks a significant regional expansion, enhancing cooperation and joint investment while supporting entry into new international markets. New projects and agreements in pharmaceuticals, health foods, biotechnology and electrical industries announced, with a combined investment value exceeding $2 billion. An ambitious plan has also been launched to explore strategic opportunities and additional partnerships with new members. Companies that have significantly contributed to the partnership’s goals were recognized for their key roles.   HE Dr. Sultan Al Jaber: −“We are excited to witness the exceptional growth that comes with Qatar and Türkiye joining the Integrated Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development.
