The 1st technical regulation of hydrogen vehicles at the regional level from "UAE"
The Emirates
Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) has completed the draft
technical regulations for hydrogen-powered Vehicles, which are environmentally
friendly that emit only “water vapor”.
The UAE is the
first country in the Middle East and North Africa to establish legislation for
the future of the environmentally friendly vehicles industry, in line with the
country's post-oil plans.
We are pleased to
be led by the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology, the
national legislative efforts in this regard. And now to the third level, which
is 100% environmentally friendly hydrogen vehicles.
ESMA efforts have achieved a positive impact on the community and the environment, and have succeeded in integrating and cooperating with the federal and local government entities, in a way that confirms the seriousness of the government efforts to achieve harmony with the directions and plans of the government within the national agenda "Emirates Vision 2021" and Emirates Centennial 2071, all of us seeking Enhance our country's competitiveness globally.
