Since the establishment of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in July 2020, the ministry's Industrial Accelerators Sector has been playing a key role in reaching out to and engaging with investors, with the aim of facilitating their procedures and offering technical support. The sector operates through four departments - Industrial Innovation, Partnerships and Investment, Data, and Customer Happiness[ 

Through the Investment Office, mandated to build direct communication networks with investors, the Industrial Accelerators Sector plays a significant role in attracting international investments into the UAE's industrial sector. We aim to boost the ease of doing industrial business in the UAE, enhance the investment environment, and eliminate all sorts of routine procedures in setting up a business

These initiatives will ultimately decrease costs and simplify procedures. To achieve this, the Investment Office will serve as a one-stop-shop for business set-up. Hence, we aim to create a conducive environment for industrial investors and help them to benefit from the UAE's offerings and incentives, including a readily available advanced infrastructure. This comprises existing infrastructure in industrial zones, such as roads, water, natural gas, electricity connections, telecommunications, and waste treatment, among other services, in coordination with relevant local entities across the UAE

The Industrial Accelerators Sector also carries out data analysis of the current industry, anticipates future developments that could affect the industrial sector and other sectors, and evaluates their impact on the ministry's strategies and policies. It also identifies activities that could support investors and opportunities for new incentives and financing options, which can be attained in coordination with the Emirates Development Bank and other financial entities.

The Investment Office receives enquiries and ideas through an email address (investments@moiat.gov.ae) which has been allocated for investors, innovators, and manufacturers looking to benefit from the vast opportunities and incentives that the UAE offers, and investing in the grand industrial ambition that the nation is pursuing
