The Global Halal Platform, an annual international event that looks forward to the future of Halal food and beverage trade and is organized by the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology, has been attended annually by more than 400 officials from decision makers. Under the slogan of establishing pillars and empowerment, towards an integrated world order.

The activities of the Halal platform witnessed during the current session, the launch of an innovative Arab initiative in the halal industry, adopted by the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization, affiliated to the League of Arab States, inspired by the UAE Halal system. It is the Arab Halal Program, which unifies standards across 22 Arab countries.

Leading international efforts towards the globalization of the halal industry, with a leading national system, the United Arab Emirates views the Islamic economy as one of the most developed sectors globally, given its promising potential and opportunities.
